Every day we each do so many things that were once impossible to us...

(523)
Here’s what I know about the realm of possibility... It is always expanding.
It is never what you think it is. Everything around us was once deemed impossible.
From the airplane overhead to the phones in our pockets
to the choir girl putting her arm around the metalhead.
As hard as it is for us to see sometimes, we all exist within the realm of possibility.
Most of the limits are of our own world’s devising.
And yet, every day we each do so many things that were once impossible to us.
David Levithan

Life, much like a French movie, rarely makes any sense,
but when its right, its right, and you don't question it.
You dont think. You dont ponder. You just exist.

You know how is it when you love someone?
And the hard part, the bad part, the Jerry Springer Show part
is that you never stop loving someone. There’s always a piece of them in your heart.
Neil Gaiman

Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo,
but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.

No relationship is perfect, ever.
There are always some ways you have to bend, to compromise,
to give something up in order to gain something greater…
The love we have for each other is bigger than these small differences.
And that’s the key. It’s like a big pie chart,
and the love in a relationship has to be the biggest piece.
Love can make up for a lot.
Sarah Dessen

(517)
Gratefulness is the key to a happy life that we hold in our hands,
because if we are not grateful, then no matter how much we have we will not be happy,
because we will always want to have something else or something more.
David Steindl-Rast

It's amazing the things you notice,
like the corner of his collar that was coming undone.
Like, he was from a poor family and couldn't afford new shirts.
That's all I could see. The whole world was that unraveled piece of fabric.
My So Called Life

Why can’t I try on different lives, like dresses, to see which fits best and is most becoming?
Sylvia Plath

By three methods we may learn wisdom:
First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest;
and third by experience, which is the bitterest.
Confucius

Unless you love someone, nothing else makes any sense.
E.E. Cummings

(512)
I'm scared that I'm going to end up alone.
I'm scared that I'm always going to be somebody's friend,
or sister, or confident, never quite somebody's everything.
Mostly I'm scared I'm never going to find a guy that I love as much as I love you.
Dawson’s Creek

Truth is, everybody is going to hurt you.
You just gotta find the ones worth suffering for.
Bob Marley

Love comes to those who still hope even though they've been disappointed,
to those who still believe even though they've been betrayed,
to those who still love even though they've been hurt before.
Unknown

Anger is just a cowardly extension of sadness.
It’s a lot easier to be angry at someone than it is to tell them you’re hurt.
Tom Gates

(508)
When one door of happiness closes, another opens,
but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see
the one which has opened for us.
Helen Keller

Deep down even the most hardened criminal is starving
for the same thing that motivates the innocent baby: love and acceptance.

Hey dad, you wanna hear something funny?
There was a man who was drowning, and a boat came,
and the man on the boat said "Do you need help?" and the man said
"God will save me". Then another boat came and he tried to help him,
but he said "God will save me", then he drowned and went to Heaven.
Then the man told God, "God, why didn't you save me?"
and God said "I sent you two boats, you dummy!"

If someone isn’t what others want them to be, the others become angry.
Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives,
but none about his or her own.
Paulo Coelho

(502)
Sometimes the things you want the most don't happen
and what you least expect happens. I don't know. You meet thousands of people
and none of them really touch you. And then you meet one person
and your life is changed forever.
Love and Other Drugs

(501)
Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven
where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down
upon us to let us know they are happy.
